KHOURI, ZAHI (1938-)

Born in Jaffa in 1938 into a Christian family; received an MSc in Engineering from the Technische Hochschule Stuttgart, Germany, in 1962, and an MBA from the European Institute of Business Administration, Fontainebleau, Germany, in 1967; worked as Vice-Pres. of the Phelps Dodge Corporation in New York and Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 1969-73; became Partner (seconded to the Olayan Group) of the American Express Middle East Development Company, Beirut, Lebanon, in 1974 (until 1979) and Vice-Pres. and Director of the Olayan Group, New York-Saudi Arabia, from 1974-94; Chairman of Intram Investment Inc., Orlando, Florida since 1993; returned to Palestine and became Chairman and CEO of the National Beverage Co. Ltd. (Coca-Cola), Ramallah, since 1997; Chairman of the Palestine Cellular Co. Al-Jawwal, Ramallah since 1999; also serves as Director of: the Middle East Capital Group (a merchant bank in the Middle East), Lebanon; the Palestine Development and Investment Co. (PADICO); La Vie S.A. (a leading manufacturer of organic food), France; Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Welfare Association NGO Consortium and of the Advisory Committee to The High Commission for Drafting the Palestinian Constitution.

خوري، زاهي (1938 - ) ولد في مدينة يافا عام 1938 ؛ حاصل على شهادة البكالوريوس في الهندسة من ،Technische Hochschule Stuttgart ألمانيا، عام 1962، وعلى شهادة الماجستير من المؤسسة الأوروبية لإدارة الأعمال، Fontainebleau ، ألمانيا، عام 1967؛ شغل منصب نائب رئيس شركة Phelps Dodge Corporation في نيويورك وساو باولو في البرازيل خلال (1969-1973)؛ أصبح شريكاً في American Express Middle East Development Company في بيروت، لبنان، عام 1974 حتى سنة 1979، ونائب رئيس ومدير مجموعة أوليان، نيويورك-السعودية، خلال (1974-1994)؛ رئيس شركة انترام للاستثمار، أورلاندو، فلوريدا، منذ عام 1993؛ عاد إلى فلسطين وشغل منصب رئيس والمدير التنفيذي لشركة المشروبات الغازية الخفيفة الوطنية المحدودة (كوكا كولا)، رام الله منذ عام 1997؛ رئيس شركة جوال الفلسطينية، رام الله منذ عام 1999؛ مدير مجموعة رأس مال الشرق الأوسط (بنك تجاري في الشرق الأوسط، لبنان)؛ شركة فلسطين للتنمية والاستثمار؛ . L a Vie S.A مصنع رائد في الأغذية الأساسية بفرنسا؛ رئيس أل Supervisory Board of the Welfare Association NGO Consortium ورئيس اللجنة الاستشارية للمفوضية العليا لمسودة الدستور الفلسطيني High Commission for Drafting the Palestinian Constitution.
