ملاحظات حول القدس وفلسطين في الخطاب العربي / Notes on Jerusalem and Palestine in the Arab Political Speech - Special Bulletin

Palestine and the Question of Jerusalem witnessed changes and developments
in its geopolitical situation since the Palestinian Nakba in 1948. This bulletin
analyzes the following five main events through different Arab positions,
statements and deeds concerning Palestine and Jerusalem: (1) the 1929 AlBuraq uprising in Jerusalem and the first Islamic conference 1930; (2) the
various Arab initiatives for Arab unity (Amman, Bagh dad, Beirut, Cairo) in
the 1940-50s; (3) the partition of Palestine in 1947; (4) the crisis of Arab
leadership during and after the 1948 War; and (5) the 1967 June War and the
fall of Jerusalem and all of Palestine into Israeli hands. The bulletin includes
names and photos of Arab leaders as well as maps covering the different
periods discussed.
