ABDUL HADI, GHADA (1954-)
Born in Nablus in 1954; following the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza in 1967 was put under house arrest in Nablus, then sentenced by Israeli authorities for one year imprisonment in; after her release continued her education and was active in community and political committees; arrested again in 1992 and detained for one month; founded Hawwa Center for Culture and Arts in Nablus in 1994; member in the Higher National Committee – Nablus District, the GUPW, and the Female Political Prisoners’ Committee; member of the right of return committee and the Committee for the Defense of Freedom; involved in community work.
عبد الهادي، غادة (1954 - ) ولدت في مدينة نابلس عام 1954، فرضت عليها سلطة الاحتلال الاسرائيلي الاقامة الجبرية في المنزل بعد العدوان الاسرائيلي في حزيران/ يونيو 1967، ثم اعتقلت لمدة عام في السجون الاسرائيلية عام 1969، أكملت دراستها الجامعية بعد اطلاق سراحها وكانت ناشطة في اللجان المجتمعية والسياسية، ثم أعيد اعتقالها عام 1992 لمدة شهر، أسست مركز حوّاء للثقافة و الفنون في نابلس عام 1994، عضو باللجنة الوطنية العليا – فرع نابلس، عضو الاتحاد العام للمرأة الفلسطينية، عضو لجنة الأسيرات السياسيات، عضو لجنة حق العودة، عضو لجنة الدفاع عن الحرية، ناشطة في العمل المجتمعي.
