Furthermore we are re¬minded of the assassinations of, inter alia, spiritual leader of Hamas Sheikh Ahmad Yassin and his successor, Abdul Aziz Rantisi, numerous assaults against Palestinian property, the issuance of countless new settlement tenders, an escalation of its attacks against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Sharon’s disclosing of his Disengagement Plan, and the ICJ ruling in The Hague de¬termining that the building of the separation barrier contravenes International Law and that Israel should con¬sequently dismantle it and pay suitable compensation to the Palestinians.
