Born in Damascus in 1898; joined the military school in Constantinople and graduated as lieutenant in 1915; joined the Ottoman army and fought in WWII; came to Palestine in the early 1920s and studied at the Palestinian School of Law in Jerusalem, graduation in 1926; practiced law and was appointed by the British MAndate as a judge in various cities until 1933, when he established his own law firm in Jerusalem; practiced law until his death in the early 1970s.
